Ex-students are the life and soul of UWC: throughout their lives they seek to put into practice the ideals and lessons which they have learned at their United World College. Belgian alumni who have experienced the life-changing UWC experience are keen for as many other Belgian youngsters as possible to be given the same opportunity. This is why alumni are strongly encouraged to "give back" by contributing financially to UWC Belgium's scholarship fund. Typically, they will start off with a small monthly contribution, which will grow steadily over the years as they move on in professional life.
