Oh I know what you think : Who is Geronimo ? And why is his name Geronimo ?

Well I don't care where his name came from, he is my Buddy, and we had lots of fun last Saturday during Buddy Dance. Imagine a 1.90m tall awkward Uruguayan trying to dance Maahi Ve with an excentric Belgian, while everyone is watching, because yeah, we looked funny. And we had walkie-talkies, you bet they were jealous.

The tradition of Buddy Dance is quite big at UWC USA. Second years request 3 first years who they want to get to know better, lucky me, I got my first choice, Mr. Geronimo. The night of Buddy Dance, the second year goes to get his Buddy, they exchange gifts, then go to the dance. When geronimo was having dinner, I entered his room and took down the screen from his window. At 10:15pm, I jumped out of Gareth's room (next door from Geronimo's) onto the roof, with my hair up and my pink dress, then knocked on my dear Buddy's window. You should have seen his face. First thing he said :

-They told me my Buddy was crazy. You just came in through the window. They were right.

After giving him my present (our walkie-talkies), we went up to the Student Center and showed them what 'crazy' means. An hour later, we were throwing water bombs at the couples gtting ot of the dance.

We should all have a Buddy like Geronimo.
